Qualifications::
Membership in AASCIT is open to individuals who by education or experience give evidence of competence in an AASCIT designated fields. The designated fields are: Engineering, Computer Sciences and Information, Technology, Physical Sciences, Biological and Medical Sciences, Mathematics, Technical Communications, Education, etc.

AASCIT Awards:
The AASCIT Awards programme includes awards for individual excellence, scholarships, composition within the science and technology sector.
Distinguished Service Award -- Distinguished Service Award recognize individuals for their contributions as volunteer leaders inadvancing the vision and mission of AASCIT.
Doctoral Dissertation Award -- Presented annually to the author(s) of the best doctoral dissertation(s) in computer science and engineering. The Doctoral Dissertation Award is accompanied by a prize of $800. Winning dissertations will be published by AASCIT in the AASCIT journals.
Outstanding Contribution to AASCIT Award -- This award may be given to up to three individuals per year, for entirely differentactivities, and they are selected based on the value and degree of service to AASCIT.
Achievement Awards -- Celebrating individual excellence in science and technology.
Scholarships -- A range of undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships and prizes.
